One night in Whistler

Jaimeson has been in Whistler for most of the week, for World Ski and Snow and Grenade Games.  So, we decided to join him on Thursday for a night.  Always a good time in Whistler.  We had some eats and drinks on the patio at Dublin-House and walked the village in amazing spring temperatures...the sun was definitely shining.  Good times!!

isn't that the cutest suit?  It has an alligator that's winking ;-)
Whistler loves dogs and dogs love Whistler!  The Westin is super dog-friendly and Walter is allowed at most restaurant patios in the village....cool!
wake up, daddy, i want to go swimming!

We have a crawler!!!!!

Dog bed?

Per usual, Millie was not wanting to take her nap the other day.  She just was not having it.  So, I said "ok, if you're not going to take a nap, how about Walter?"  She thought this was soooooooooooooo funny!!  Walter seemed comfortable with it too ;-)!

Style 101 with Millie

The Leisure Suit!   Who doesn't love a good pant suit??  They're timeless, and classic and quite comfortable....yet let people know "I'm here to do business!"

Yard Sale

For those of you that don't know, one of Jaimeson's many talents is executing a wicked yard sale.  Of all the big-budget events he's put on over the years for a host of companies, the annual Keegan yard sale (bi-annual if there is anything leftover from the first) has to be one of his finest.  He is firm and friendly and ends up getting most to return at the end of the day for last minute deals!!!  Saturday was Millie's first experience with one, and lucky for her, she's learning from the best!!!

Fun with Clifford, the BIG RED Dog

More 9 month pictures!

excuse me, i'm eating...
pretty in pink

9 months old today!

I'm 9 months old and I'm stronger than ever!!!  I am about to start crawling any second now...that is, if I don't figure out how to walk, first!  I am curious about everything and want to get my hands on anything within site.  I like doing things myself...especially feeding myself.  I no longer need mom to puree' my food...i like it whole, even though I don't have any teeth yet.

Patience

Walter waiting patiently outside of "Bean Town" in the pouring rain, while we stopped in for a coffee.  Good Boy!

Black and Whites

Our good friend, Elise, took these amazing photos of Millie last weekend, during a party at our place.  She says she's not a professional....but i beg to differ....fabulous!

Laundry basket

Now that Millie is getting more mobile and into more things, I had to come up with a way to "confine" her while I need to get stuff done.....like taking a shower.  Especially since I can't get these things done while she naps, because Millie doesn't nap ;-)  The laundry basket will work for a bit....

April Showers bring...a visit from Go-Go

Last week, Grandma Goldie aka Go-Go aka Jaimeson's Mom flew in from New England for a visit with us. She brought some exceptional weather with her too - lots of sunshine and warm temps instead of the usual showers. We've had the best time touring the city - Spanish Banks, Stanley Park, Shaugnessy, Dunbar, and Granville Island. Go-Go has also been an exceptional babysitter for Millie so that we can go out to a concert, or even just get some stuff done around the house. And Millie doesn't seem to be getting tired of being spoiled yet, either!

Millie perusing the menu at Sandbar.

Thanks for taking this photo, Go-Go!

Fortunately only one of these glasses had beer in it.

Millie loves it when Goldie reads to her...this is a book about Rhode Island :)

Is it OK to play my Maracas at this nice restaurant? OK, well I just will either way.

This was before 3 rounds of delicious (and overly filling) fish and chips!

Millie loves bread, and is already demonstrating a great sense of sharing and
generosity (with the floor).

The girls, outside Sequoia Grill in Stanley Park. Where did the sun go???
Yay Go-Go! Thanks for coming to see us, and see you again soon!

Millie + Jumping + Walter + Broccoli = Good times!

Jaimeson came up with this awesome new game that Millie....and Walter... love.  We were cracking up....and as you can see, so was she.  We noticed when Millie was in the Jolly Jumper and Walter would try and scoot past her, she would laugh.  So Jaimeson started tossing treats...in this case, broccoli (yes...one of Walter's faves) back and forth from room to room...each time, gently knocking into Millie.  She can't get enough of him....and he can't get enough broccoli....so the game is a win/win!!!   We're also hoping this shows Millie how FUN BROCCOLI CAN BE.....hee hee ;-)!!  ( a bit blurry, so bear with)

Teeth Schmeeth....

Who says you need teeth to enjoy a tasty treat?  I have none, and I am managing this pear just fine!
