Memorial Fun (part 3)

We capped off the weekend with a great dinner at our dear friend, Sasha's. She has the BEST house in Greenwood and she made the girls feel like a million bucks. Millie was her right hand pizza helper and was overjoyed with the responsibility. The pizzas were yummy and the company was FABULOUS!! Great weekend!!

Memorial Day (part 2)

Millie and Jaimeson headed down to Folklife Festival at the Seattle Center on Monday to see the "Recess Monkeys" play live outside. A great kids band. Millie loved dancing in the fountain and people watching!!! The weather was great all weekend.....and it was "supposed" to rain!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun (Part 1)

We kicked off our holiday weekend with a ferry ride to Kingston, on the olympic peninsula...about a 30 minute sail. The girls loved being on the water and the town was so adorable. We ate crepes for lunch at a quaint little spot and then played soccer in the town park, right on the water!! It was a great, impromptu weekend "get away!"

Singing, dancing and goofing off!

Shoulder ride

this was a full on giggle session for a few!

Celebrate!!!!

After weeks....ok, more like months, of poor sleep on this little gal's part (which translated into poor sleep on everyones part)! , she successfully slept through the night last night.....not a peep!!! Yay, Esmee!! We weened her from the nightime bottle ages ago, and have been letting her really cry it out for the last several days! (something I REALLY struggle with, but bit the bullet) And finally....it worked.....she snoozed her little heart out for a consecutive 11.5 hours!! We're so proud of you little lady! I woke up refreshed and well-rested....i thought i was dreaming! :)

for those that know Ezzy....those 3 bottom teeth are priceless!!

Millie's Recital

Millie had her end of the year recital at preschool last night. It was adorable to watch. Proud parents filled the gym and watched their wee ones sing (or not) up on stage. Smiles all around. Millie's class sang 4 songs and did SO well. All of their practice paid off. Esmee even clapped along to the songs, from the audience. Yay Queen Anne Co-op! We LOVE being a part of this school!! The vibe is unbeatable!!

More of Gogo and Aunt At-leee!

Its always a treat when Gogo and Aunt Ashley come to visit us in Seattle, and this trip was no different! Amidst the celebration of two birthdays and two Mother's Days, we managed to find heaps of great times. Thanks so much for visiting you guys, and bouncing around with us through our busy lives. We love you! (in fact, Millie's upset faces in these photos are surely a reaction to knowing that you were leaving on the following day =)
