The rains are back!

a wet, but refreshing walk/ride around Greenlake. Millie is becoming quite the pedaler!

Sweet.

I heard Millie reading her book in the dining room....when I walked in, she informed me that she was "reading to Walter to help him feel better!" I just love how Walter was listening intently. These two are the best of buds!

Solids!

We now have little nugget on the solids progam. She did great....albeit, a little stunned when we introduced them. She wasn't quite sure what to make of them, but in the end was reaching for the spoon. Big smiles followed. We started with brown rice cereal and bananas and mangos...yummy! Next up.....peas!

Lady Bug Girl!

The Queen Anne Community Center hosted a halloween carnival on Friday night, and boy are glad we attended. $3 for the entire family got us an evening of bouncy castles, games and prizes, cookie and pumpkin decorating, sweets and treats! It was awesome!! Millie walked away with handfuls of spider rings and glow in the dark stickers for nailing the bulls-eye basically every time...we've got a natural ;) Millie went as Lady Bug Girl and was as cute as can be!

Happy Halloween!

It was a perfect, crisp, clear fall day/eve for halloween festivities. We had a blast with GoGo and Grandpa Cliff in town. We went all out this year and participated in anything and everything Halloween...fun, fun, fun!! We went as the zany crew from Wizard of Oz and had a wonderful time!!! Millie was pinging off the walls from all the sugar, but hey....it's Halloween!!

Maui Woweeee!

We spent the greatest 5 days on the island of Maui last week...we're still on a high! It is such a magical place and fun for the entire family. We spent our days at the pool, water slides and all, and our evenings walking the boardwalk and enjoying fantastic local fare and groovy live music. It is nothing short of beautiful...the waters, the sunsets, the vegetation, the people, the food....incredible!!! Yay, Maui...we'll hopefully see you again soon :)
