Millie on Skis
Our first day with Millie on the moutain was a success. We took her over to the bunny slope, and within a few minutes she noticed the chairlifts and said she wanted to go to the top of the mountain. He "no-fear" style is what we love about her....but also can be a bit scary for mom. So off we went without hesitation up to the top. Jaimeson and I took turns harnessing her down the mountain.....about a 20 minute ride down. She did great and for the most part was cruising down the mountain. She was smiling and laughing most of the time....but....it was peppered with a few mini melt downs. Hey...she's only 2, right?

Julie's sister and her family graciously let us use their condo in Breckenridge for the week, while they were traveling overseas. It is AWESOME and we are having the best time!!! We can't thank you guys enough for ALL of the hospitality!! And...we were lucky enough to get to bring their amazing dog, Zoe up with us! She is the best snow dog and such a little love bug! We can't get enough of her!! xo
Presents and Tree Trimming!
We had a little pre-Christmas and tree trimming at our house before heading out, with Uncle Billy on Saturday. Millie was excited to hang the ornaments and both Millie and Esmee...and Walter, LOVED opening gifts!
Santa Tour!
Millie has her eyes peeled everywhere we go for good ole' St. Nick....she can spot a blow-up Santa, a wooden Santa, a skinny Santa and of course the REAL Santa anywhere! We have to drive out of our way many times just to go by the houses that are full of yard decorations....she loves the holiday spirit. We kicked off our December with some tree chopping with The Arnold's and Cugiers in Issaquah, WA. And just before we left for Colorado, we drove to Elbe, WA near Mt. Rainier to ride the Santa Express! Hot Chocolate, cookies and a visit with Santa were enough to make the kids squeal with delight! The parents on the other hand, will re-think the 2 hour drive and cheap cookies next year ;) So far the holiday season is off to a great!!! Cheers everyone!
