Aunt Ashley's Here!!!

Yaaaaaaaaaaay!!! Aunt Ashley's here and we're having nothing short of a blast! She is so fun!! She arrived on Saturday and we've been on the go ever since. Millie just adores her and loves having her here. These pictures are from the park down the street from our house. More photos to come :)

So our new house in Seattle is literally 50 feet from a really awesome doughtnut shop, Top Pot Doughnuts....it's the view out our front picture window :)....another reason to come visit! Millie LOVES the "Pink Rainbow" doughnut!!! Mmmmmmmmmmmmm....

Millie isn't super fond of grocery shopping these days...unless she's allowed to pull things off shelves...or climb shelves. Although I vowed, pre-kids, that I would never push one of these HUGE car carts through a grocery store, I have totally changed my mind! They're enormous and obnoxious...super challenging to turn corners (right, mom?)... and pretty much totally annoy other patrons when they see you coming....but they keep Millie happy while we buy our groceries, and that's pretty much all that matters :)

We're baaaaaaaaaaaaaaack!

Big apologies!! As most of you know, we've been in the middle of some big changes in our world...most recently, our move from Vancouver to Seattle. We left Vancouver on November 2nd and have pretty much been knee deep in boxes ever since. We had our internet hooked up yesterday, so we finally feel re-connected with the world and most importantly all of you guys. Needless to say, we haven't been taking many photos over the past week and a half, with everything else going on, but I had to share these amazing pictures taken by the incredible David Lang.

We spent our last weekend in Canada with many of our closest friends, in Tofino B.C. (for those that haven't been, we highly recommend it). It was halloween weekend, so we made sure to pack Millie's chicken suit for a little trick-or-treating on Vancouver Island. The pictures speak for themselves...but we think she is the cutest darn chicken out there....a total nugget!!!!
