Flower Girl

picking out a bouquet at Pike Place Market

Yay, Mimi and Pampa!!

Oh how we hate saying goodbye to our parents!! We had SUCH a blast with Mimi and Pampa!! They absolutely LOVE Seattle and the NW, as they lived here in the 70's and Julie and her brother and sister were all born here. So they have a special place in their heart for this amazing city.....and it doesn't hurt that their adorable granddaughters live here whom they are quite smitten over!! :) It didn't matter that it rained most of their visit...we were out and about most of the time! Markets and shopping and parks and walks and great meals!! Thanks for all of the HELP and laughs and great QT, Mimi and Pampa....we LOVE you SO much!!!!!! xoxoxo Can't wait to see you in July!

Yay! Esmee's one month old!!! (note: I tried putting this blog up yesterday when she was officially 1 month, but had technical difficulties) She is a superSTAR!! It's gone by so fast...too fast! We are having so much fun with her and loving watching her grow. She changes daily...we've seen a few smiles, but have yet to capture them on camera....soon :) We love you, Esmee!

Gogo comes to Seattle!

Last week, we were treated by a visit from Jaimeson's mom, Kandee, aka "Goldie" or "Gogo" as Millie tries to say. The timing of the visit was impeccable, as Gogo had slotted in the 3rd week of May to come out months ago. As it turns out, we had only been back from Florida for a couple days when she came, so her assistance with the two girls and Walter (who demands his exercise) was truly helpful.

We had a blast throughout the 10-day visit, bonding with Esmee, playing at home and outdoors, visiting Millie's favorite trampoline-park gym, and hitting some of our favorite restaurants like Chinook's in Ballard, Cactus in Madison Park, and the Pike Place Chowder House where Millie sang and danced (no choice - he played "Wheels on the Bus" after all) with a local guitarist. Gogo spoiled us all.

In the end, our good-bye was a sad one as usual, but we know that Gogo will be back soon, along with Grandpa Cliffy! Thanks for the visit, Gogo. We'll miss you!
