Yesterday, Jodi and I took Emmett, Anya, Millie and Esmee to Fox Hollow Farm, in Issaquah...about a 40 minute drive east of the city. The weather could not have been more perfect...a beautiful, sunny, fall NW day...a 10. We instantly fell in love with this amazing, family-owned farm....absolutely breath-taking! We felt like we were personal guests...they were so welcoming. There were animals walking around for us to interact with; pigs, horses, chickens, kittens, rabbits...electric-powered 4 wheelers for the kids to explore the farm, a hay maze, rope swing, train (Esmee's favorite), pony rides (Millie's favorite), a fire pit to roast s'mores (so cool), peacocks, bouncy castles...even a creek to watch the salmon spawn. They thought of everything! The leaves were at their peak of amazing colors! It was the perfect way to spend a fall afternoon in preparation for Halloween, with great friends! Jodes and I are ready to ditch the city and make an offer on this farm....we felt right at home!!
