my goal for 2013!

so far in the new house (here about a month) we've had sharpie on the wall, finger paint on the hardwoods, playdough stuck to the rug....and lots of smiles. As Millie says...'it's ok, Mom...we're artists."

Irresistable.

i regularly play a game with the girls called 'i love you more than...'  The answers are usually 'i love you more than ice cream...i love you more than the moon, i love you more than rainbows...i love you more than unicorns.'  Always something favorable and cherished.  Today when Esmee and i were playing it,  she very sincerely (and seriously) said 'i love you more than poop.'  And when I laughed and sort of questioned her answer, she followed up with a very sincere (and serious)' i really do, mom.' 

I can only hope i'm loved more than 'poop.'  and deep down, i know i am ;)

Best Dad EVER!

this photo gives me the best giggles.  I ran a few errands last saturday...and I returned to this.  The girls were in their 'boat' in the garage.  Jaimeson used the box that part of our couch came in as the boat...he put their lounge chairs in as their boat chairs, a frisbee for the steering wheel, a wrapping paper roll for Esmee's telescope, the stuffed dog on the front....it was AWESOME!  Garage Boating at it's finest! The best part for me was they were both wearing their life vests...and sombreros!!!  Creativity award for sure goes to Jaimeson....i could not have come close to this!!!  Yay, dad!!!!!!!!  They played there for over an hour!!!
