Bright Nights!

On Wednesday, we took Millie, along with friends, to "Bright Nights" in Stanley Park.  More than a million eco-friendly LED lights transform the forest into animated holiday displays.   We rode the train, which winds it's way through the park, past Santa's workshop.  All of the holiday smells and sounds were in the air!  It is a great holiday tradition...the first time for us...but hopefully many more to come!  Millie was mesmerized by all of the lights...for the first time since turning 3 months old, she was "speechless." We bundled her in her snowsuit and sang along with the Christmas carols that were echoing through the park.  It was a great evening!!   Millie sat on Santa's lap, and was completely content cuddling in and hanging onto his beard.  No tears or frowns from this little trooper....we'll see how next year goes :-)

Seattle Shower (and I'm not talkin about rain!)

Wow, wow, wow!!!!  It's hard to put into words this past weekend.  Jaimeson, Millie and I left Vancouver at around 11am this past Saturday, for our highly anticipated baby shower.  With border traffic and holiday shoppers cramming the highway, we rolled into Seattle at around 5pm...just in time to change, get Millie settled, greet the babysitter and head downtown to The Alibi Room.   When we arrived at the party, we were greeted by SO many of our amazing friends....not to mention, a room filled with balloons, champagne, gourmet pizzas, tunes being spun by the resident DJ and our dear, dear friend Court and lots of good times.  We both melted, when we saw not 1, but 3 big screen TV's on the wall, playing slide shows of little Millie...and Walter was even included in there too :-)  It was so joyous!!  Jodi and Beckie hosted the entire event and went so above and beyond what most friends do, that we could hardly speak!  Needless to say, drinks were flowing, everyone was laughing, most were dancing and Jaimeson and I felt like a million bucks!!!   It was a perfect evening and we can't wait to share it all with Millie when she's a little older!!!  THANKS EVERYONE....especially Jodes and Becks!! xoxoxoxoxo

And if that wasn't enough....on Sunday, our friend Dana, hosted a "Ladies and Kiddos" brunch...the first of it's kind.  (The boys were at the Seahawks/Patriots game, live).  All of my favorite ladies were together under one roof.  Everyone brought amazing dishes to share, kids were running around, babies were squawking and at times crying, everyone was talking and laughing....it truly was "beautiful chaos!"  It was such a special day.  I was in awe of all of the wonderful friends we have!  It was the most special weekend and we're still floating high from it all.  Thanks everyone!!  WE LOVE YOU!!!

New snowboard gear

Yep...this is Jaimeson's new snow-suit!  I will have no trouble finding him on the mountain this year :-)  Can't wait for the snow to fall!!

A couple of weeks ago, we received this sweater that Millie's wearing, from Jaimeson's Aunt Beth and Uncle Jeff.  Aunt Beth hand knit it, with wool that she sheared and spun on her loom from their sheep on their organic farm on Cape Cod.......I know, AMAZING, huh!!?!!  They also included this stuffed bear which Millie has become great buds with!  Enjoy the photos!!  Thanks, Jeff and Beth...it's beautiful!!  P.s...we named the bear "Dennis" since he's from E. Dennis ;-)
