For the second time, we made the trek over the river and through the woods to the Methow Valley to stay at The Fredlunds cabin for the weekend. We went with our dear, dear friends the Arnold's. And even though we were only there for 48 hours, it was worth the 6 hour drive each way, and the extra 1.5 hours to get chains to get up the driveway (we'll tell you about that another time :) This cabin is off the grid and in the middle of nowhere....an absolutely beautiful, pristine nowhere!! We did a ton of sledding, snowshoeing, cooked up amazing meals and just enjoyed great quality time with each other. The dogs came along too, and needless to say, we were all exhausted when we got back to Seattle. Thank you Arnold's and Fredlunds!!!
