What a fun week!! We had such a great time gearing up for Millie's birthday festivities. GoGo and Grandpa Cliff arrived a week before and we hit the ground running. Beach bbq's, bike rides, sunny days, good eats, neighborhood walks....so great! It was wonderful having them here to help out with Millie, help get ready for the party and most importantly just to get in good quality family time. Millie's 1st birthday was just perfect. We had great friends over and the weather was spectacular. Millie was very tame with her first cake experience...she kept it clean...in fact...2 bites into it, she just shut her eyes in my lap and fell asleep. Who could blame her....she had been "partying" all week :)
PS....A HUGE thank you to Grandpa Cliff for working hours upon hours landscaping our yard to get it ready for the party!!! It is BEAUTIFUL and we APPRECIATE it more than you know!!! xoxoxo
