This morning, Millie got a really special treat....she was FRONT ROW at the "Recess Monkey's" concert!! Recess Monkey's are a local kids band made up of 3 awesome, energetic musicians that are also teachers by day in the community. They're AMAZING! Millie was rockin out front and center (ok...maybe I was rockin out more than she was) to songs like "Moon Boots" and "Rock-to-pus!" It was a free show held at the ever-so-awesome local, independent bookstore called Alphabet Soup. Great way to start the day. We then headed over to Wallingford park to meet our friends Dana, Ollie and Finn (twins) for some swinging, sliding and urban "hiking"! We finished off the sweet, sunny day with lunch at a favorite haunt...Julia's. Whew...we're pooped and it's only 1!! Nap time!! :)
