We missed our scheduled 11:25 ferry to Bainbridge today...so rather than waiting at the dock for the 12:25 ferry, we decided to drive down to Tacoma and around the peninsula to get there. It was a beautiful fall drive and the sights were stunning. It didn't hurt that Jaimeson just got his brand new car last night and was able to put it's handling to the test. We had a fabulous lunch at the Dock Side Inn...fresh off the boat, Northwest seafood! Good times! In the end we're glad we missed our ferry.
